1.16cr sacrificial animals for Eid-ul-Adha

MNA Business Desk: Bangladesh has around 1.16 crore sacrificial animals, including cows, buffaloes, goats and sheep, for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha, according to Fisheries and Livestock Ministry.
Of them, there are 44.57 lakh cows and buffaloes, while goats and sheep are 71 lakh.
In a statement, Senior Information Officer of the ministry Md Shah Alam made the disclosure on Sunday.
The government has set Aug 21 to Aug 23 for the Eid holidays, subject to the sighting of the moon.
If the moon sighting for the month of Zulhijja is made on Aug 12, Eid-ul-Adha will fall on Aug 22.
