6th death anniversary of Abdur Razzak

MNA Feature Desk: The Awami League (AL) has paid tributes to its former general secretary and former Water Resources Minister Abdur Razzak on his 6th death anniversary.

The veteran leader of Awami League is being remembered for his contribution towards country’s liberation and politics.

Razzak dedicated his life to self-determination, peace and freedom of Bengalees. However, on December 23, the great leader breathed his last while he was under medical treatment at Kings College Hospital in London.  He was born on August 1, 1942, in Shariatpur district.

Razzak got involved with student politics while he was a school student. He followed the footsteps of the founding father of Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

As he started his politics with Bangabandhu from early days, he was very close to the founding father. His love for Bangabandhu was unfathomable.
