Badhan launched blood transfusion centre at DU

MNA Education Desk: Badhan, a voluntary blood donors’ organization, has set up a blood transfusion centre at Dhaka University (DU) Medical Centre on the campus.

DU vice-chancellor professor AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the blood transfusion centre on the first floor of the DU medical centre on Friday, read a DU press release.

DU pro-VC professor Md Akhtaruzzaman, central president Farizul Islam, general secretary Imran Ali Imon, Badhan Foundation chairman Shahidul Islam Ripan and other central leaders were present at the inaugural ceremony, among others.

Earlier, the organization Foundation donated Tk 35 lakh in two phases for setting up the ‘Badhan Blood Transfusion Centre’ at DU Medical Centre.
