Special prayers and doa will be offered at the residential hall for the ‘Greatest Bengali of All Time’. Later, a discussion meeting and fabulous cultural function will be held at 4pm at the hall premises.
Besides, DU has also chalked out elaborate programmers. As part of the programmes, DU teachers, students, officers and employees led by Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique will place wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu at Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at 7am in the city.
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is the architect of our country and the nation by all implications of the term. As a matter of fact, what we now call Bangladesh was never independent in the truest sense of the term before 1971. It was Mujib and only Mujib who gave the nation a real touch of freedom.
