Bangabandhu killer Rashid’s son-in-law held under ICT act

MNA National Desk: The son-in-law of fugitive Bangabandhu killer Sultan Shahriar Rashid was detained yesterday in a case filed against him under the ICT act for posting derogatory comments against Bangabandhu on Facebook.

Detainee Fuad Zaman also demanded release of Bangabandhu killers and praised them in the Facebook post, Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, claimed.

A team of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit picked up Fuad Zaman from Eskaton area last night, the DC said.

The case has been filed with Dhanmondi Police Station in this connection under the ICT Act recently, reported news agency.
