Bangladesh, India private sectors sign 13 agreements worth $10bn

MNA Business Desk: Private sectors of Bangladesh and India singed about 13 agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth nearly US$ 10 billion in the power, energy, logistics, education and medical sectors during a business event.

A 237-member business delegation from Bangladesh, led by President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce Industry (FBCCI) Abdul Matlub Ahmad, interacted with nearly 150 members from the Indian business community at the forum.

As part of the visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to India from 7-10 April, the Indian External Affairs Ministry in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Federation of the Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Associated Chambers of Commerce of India (ASSOCHAM) organized the India-Bangladesh Business Forum in New Delhi at Hotel Taj Palace.
