MNA National Desk: Customs officials have detained a passenger with gold bars weighing about five kilograms at Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Sunday. The passenger, identified as Zahirul Islam, was detained with gold worth around Tk. 24 million at about 11:00pm. He reached Dhaka from Dubai. Acting on secret information, customs officials searched Jahirul while crossing the the Green Channel zone and found 42 gold bars hidden in his underwear.
