MNA Education Desk: The ‘Gha’ unit re-test for admission into first year honours courses under the Social Science faculty for 2018-19 academic session of Dhaka University (DU) was held on Friday, reports news agency. The one-hour test was held from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at 19 centres on the university campus. MNA Education Desk: The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations of November 4 have been rescheduled for November 9. Professor Ziaul Haque, chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the matter on Saturday, reports news agency. The English examinations for regular JSC students, English 1st paper for irregular students, and Arabic 2nd paper for JDC students will begin at 9am on Friday. MNA Education Desk: A total of 26,70,333 examinees are expected to participate this year’s Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations which began on Thursday, reported news agency. The examinations started around 10am across the country. Students from 29,677 educational institutions appeared for the examinations at 2,903centres across the country. A total of 22,67,343 students –10,43,752 boys and 12,23,591 girls –sat for the JSC examination, while 4,02,990 examinees — 179,980 boys and 2,23,010 girls –for the JDC examination, raising the total to 26,70,333. The JSC examinations will end on November 15 while JDC on November 14.
