Cricket WC trophy to arrive Wednesday

MNA Sports Desk: The cricket World Cup trophy is set to land in Bangladesh tomorrow morning for a four-day visit, reported news agency.

Fans in Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong will get the opportunity to see the trophy in their respective cities before it leaves Bangladesh Sunday.

The World Cup 2019, ICC’s showpiece 50-over event, will be held in England and Wales from May 30 to July 14.

The trophy began its journey from the International Cricket Council headquarters in Dubai on August 27 this year and is travelling across five continents, 21 countries and over 60 cities.

It is the most extensive tour ever and will allow cricket fans around the world to catch a glimpse of the coveted prize.
