CUB holds ‘Spot Admission Week 2019’

MNA Education & Career Desk: A seven-day long ‘Spot Admission Week 2019’ of Canadian University of Bangladesh has been started officially on 6th January 2019, (Sunday) at the university’s Banani Campus, says a press release.

Honorable Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam, Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nazrul Islam and Professor William Derrenger, Dean, School of Business inaugurated the programme.

Students will get 40 percent tuition waiver on spot admission and attractive gifts will also be given during the week to the newly admitted students of BBA, MBA, EMBA, CSE, EEE, English, LL.B (Hons.), Film & Television and Shipping & Maritime Science. Students and parents will have the opportunity to talk with all the heads of the departments regarding the selection of subject while admission desk will provide information on admission policies, scholarships, waivers and financial aids. This event has already drawn the attention of a huge number of students and parents.

Along with others, Registrar Brig. Gen. Md. Asaduzzaman Subhani (Retd.), S. M. Arifuzzaman, Head, School of Business, Dr. Abdullah-Al-Monzur Hussain, Head, School of Law, Dr. Nurul Islam Babul, Head, Department of Film & TV, Dr. M Mamoon Al Bashir, Academic Director, MBA & EMBA Programmes, Dr. Akim M Rahman, Assistant Professor, School of Business, were present in the inaugural ceremony.
