Examinees must enter halls 30 min before

MNA Education Desk: The education ministry on Wednesday announced that the examinees of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams will have to enter their respective centre at least half-an-hour before start.

Otherwise, the ministry said, the examinees will not be allowed to participate in the exam.

The ministry came up with the decision in a meeting presided over by secretary to the Secondary and Higher Education Division M Sohrab Hossain.

The meeting discussed ways and means to ensure that exams are held in a fair environment without any scope for unfair means, said a press release.

Examinees will not be permitted to use any smartphone or any other phone for that matter, according to the decision.
