MNA Science & Tech Desk: Some Facebook users, whose accounts were blocked by the social media authorities during their drive against fake accounts, are getting their accounts back as the social media giant started blocking accounts from Friday.
It said “accounts made up inauthentic likes and comments that appear to come from accounts located in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and a number of other countries.”
Following that, many Facebook users in the country found their accounts blocked. And yet no government agencies in Bangladesh could provide exact numbers of the unblocked accounts in the country.
According to the government information, there are 23 million Fancebook users in the country. Almost 99% of social media users have Facebook accounts.
