Hanging body of Eden college student found in reading room

MNA National Desk: Police recovered hanging body of a student at the reading room of a student residence in Dhaka’s Eden Girls’ College on Thursday morning.

The deceased is Jannatul Ferdous Jibon, 20. She was a student of year III in the Department of Chemistry of the college.

Jibon used to live at Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa student’s hall of the college. Being informed by Jibon’s fellows, police went to the spot and recovered her body. The SI said the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy.

The police official said the autopsy report will say whether it was a suicide or a murder.
