Helicopter crash injured 4 in Sreemangal

MNA National Desk: Four people were injured as a helicopter crashed into Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) camp on Kalighat Road in Sreemangal upazila of Moulvibazar on Wednesday.

The injured were admitted to Sreemangal Upazila Health Complex.

The helicopter was carrying around 15-16 passengers, including two senior members of the Kuwait Armed Forces delegation visiting Bangladesh.

The officials of assistant director of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), said the helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force ‘M16’ made the emergency landing near BAF helipad inside the BGB camp around 10:45 am.

BGB officers Lt Col Mehedi Hasan and Senior Warrant Officer Md Farhad, and several others are also reported to be injured.
