India-New Zealand semifinal match to resume today due to rain

MNA Sports Desk: The first semifinal match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 between India and New Zealand will resume on Reserve Day on Wednesday after rain stopped play on Tuesday.

The match will resume from New Zealand’s score of 211 for 5 in 46.1 overs

Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson hit fifties for the Kiwis after they came under pressure from the Indian bowling attack.

All five Indian bowlers bagged one wicket each before rain came down heavily .

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat first against India.
