Legendary singer Ayub Bachchu no more

MNA Entertainment Desk: Bangladesh’s legendary singer, guitarist and songwriter Ayub Bachchu breathed his last on Thursday morning, reported news agency.

Ayub Bachchu is also the founder of the country’s one of the leading bands, the LRB (Love Runs Blind).

Ayub Bachchu, who is also AB, is famous for his fabulous guitar playing.

‘Cholo Bodle Jaai’, ‘Ghum Bhanga Shohore’, ‘Rupali Guitar’, ‘Gotokal Rate’, ‘Ghum Bhanga Rate’, ‘Madhabi’ are among his most popular songs.

Ayub Bachchu began his music career with a local music band Feelings at his birth place, Chittagong, in 1978.

He later joined the band Souls in 1980. In 1991, Ayub Bachchu left Souls and formed the LRB (Love Runs Blind).

Ayu Bachchu-led LRB debuted in 1992 launching the first double album in the history of Bangla music.
