Bangabandhu Shishu Kishor Mela paid tribute to Bangabandhu’s Mazar

MNA National Desk: Central Leaders of Bangabandhu Shishu Kishor Mela (BSKM) paid rich tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his Mazar at Tungipara. Iqbal Sobhan Chowdury, the chief adviser of Bangabandhu Shishu Kishore Mela and Prime Minister’s Media Advisor, placed wreaths at the mazar.

Mir Mosharref Hossain Pakbir, chief patron of BSKM national committee, also paid homage to Bangabandhu marking the 42nd martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day.

Besides a huge number of children participated in a mourning rally arranged by the BSKM before placing wreaths at the Mazar.

Bangabandhu Shishu Kishore Mela’s syllabus enlisted books on Bangabandhu, liberation war and the independence of Bangladesh have been given to the president and general secretary of Gopalganj, Kashiani, Kotalipara and Maksudpur unit of BSKM.

Mir Mosharref Hossain Pakbir, the Chairman of Mohammadi Group of Companies Ltd. and director of the Daily Observer, inaugurated a office of Bangabandhu Shishu Kishor Mela’s Tungipara branch this afternoon.

Among others, former Air Force chief – Air Vice Marshal (retd.) Sultan Mahmud, Mela’s central adviser Engineer Mohammad Abdus Subhan, Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra artists Manoranjan Ghoshal, Tungipara municipality mayor Sheikh Ahmed Hossain Mirza,Tungipara Upazila UNO Shamim Ahmed, well-known dance artist Jinat Barkatullah, BSKM’s central president Miah Mansaf – general secretary Mohammad Yasin Mollah, Tungipara Bangabandhu Shishu Kishor Mela’s president Azizul Islam and general secretary Foysal Raj Mehedi were present at the program.

Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) Chairman and Editor of Dainik Samakal Golam Sarwar, Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) President Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul, its General Secretary Omar Faruque, Jatiya Press Club General Secretary Farida Begum, Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) President Shaban Mahmood, its General Secretary Sohel Haider Chowdhury and Editor of Bangladesh News Azizul Islam Bhuiyan were also present on the occasion.

The leaders and workers of BSK Mela and other affiliate organizations along with district Awami League worked to make the events and the visit a total success.
