PM arrives in Canada to join G7 outreach

MNA National Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived here on a four-day official visit to Canada to attend the Outreach Leaders Programme of the G7, the group of seven countries with advanced economies in the world.

A flight of Air Canada, which left Toronto Pearson International Airport at 12:00pm (local time), arrived at Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport at 2:00pm on Friday (local time), reports news agency.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invited 12 world leaders, including Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, to take part in a special outreach session of the G7 Summit.

The G7 consists of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States.
