Quota reformists call countrywide strike

MNA Education Desk: Bangladesh General Students Right Protection Council, the platform for quota reform movement, called a countrywide student strike for Saturday, protesting against attacks on school-college students who took to the streets demanding justice for their dead fellows and road safety.

Joint convener of the platform Bin Yamin Molla made the announcement at a press conference in front of national press club in the capital on Friday afternoon, reported news agency.

however, the students started the protests from Dhaka, but it spread across the country following the deaths of two fellows in a road crash in Dhaka on Jul 29.
