A seminar on current issues held at JnU

MNA Education Desk (JnU Correspondent): A seminar on current issues was held at the central auditorium of Jagannath University (JnU) on Sunday.

JnU South Asian Study Circle organized the seminar at 12:00pm with its Director Prof Dr Arun Kumar Goswami in the chair.

JnU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Mijanur Rahman spoke as Chief Guest at the seminar while DU Political Science Dept Associate Prof Dr Sabbir Ahmed and International Political Science Association Member Dr Sinha MA Sayeed were, among others, present as discussants.

In the seminar, JnU Political Science Dept Lecturer Dipak Kumar Biswas presented a paper on ‘US President Election System: An Appraisal’ while another paper on ‘Rohingya Refugee Crisis: Traditional and Non-Traditional Security Concern for Bangladesh’ was presented by JnU Political Science Dept Assistant Prof Ajmira Sultana.
