SSC, equivalent results published with 80.35% success rate

MNA National Desk: The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been published on Thursday with a success rate of 80.35%.

Nurul Islam Nahid, education minister handed over the result copies to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on this morning.

About 14,31,722 students passed in the exams, while 104,761 students scored GPA 5. This year, the success rates in the schools are 81.21 per cent, madrasa 76.20 per cent while 76.69 per cent students passed the exams from the technical board.

A total of 17,86,613 students sat for this year’s exams under eight general, one madrasa and one technical education boards.

The SSC and equivalent exam results will be available through SMS for all mobile operators.

Students or their guardians can type ‘SSC/DAKHIL<space>the first three letters of the board’s name<space>student’s roll number<space>2017’ and send the message to 16222 to receive the results in an SMS response.
