MNA National Desk: A Dhaka court on Thursday framed charges against all the five accused, including Shafat Ahmed, in connection to Banani rape case. Dhaka Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-3 Judge Shafiul Azam framed the charges against them, rejecting their bail pleas after they appeared before his court. The court also fixed July 24 for recording testimonies of witnesses. Shafat and Nayem Ashraf were charged for rape while Shadman Sakif, Shafat’s driver Billal Hossain and bodyguard Rahmat Ali for assisting in the offence.
