Khaleda called journalists to put united resistance


MNA National Desk: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia, blamed the Bangladesh Awami League (AL) government of attempting to create its control over the media and called on journalists to put up a united resistance against it. “I urge the journalists to get united and create a strong resistance against the blueprint of putting the independence of press at stake,” she told in a message. Syed Ashraf advised BCL away from the ‘reckless’ JSD

Awami League leaders assault UNO

Local leaders and workers of ruling Awami League on Friday allegedly assaulted UNO (Upazila Nirbahi Officer) of Feni’s Parshuram Upazila, H.M.
