MNA National Desk: A US-Bangla plane crashed at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) runway in Kathmunda on Monday afternoon, said MD Kamrul Islam, GM, Marketing Support and PR of US-Bangla Airlines. The aircraft, carrying 78 passengers on board, skidded off the runway while landing at the airport. However, condition of the passengers is yet unknown. The fire fighters are trying to douse the fire, reports Khatmunda Tribune. “We are trying to bring the fire under control. Details are awaited,” airport spokesman Birendra Prasad Shrestha said.

MNA International Desk: At least 27 people were killed and dozens more wounded on Tuesday as two trains crashed in a head-on crash in the southern Italian region of Puglia. The two trains hit on a spring of isolated track enclosed by olive trees around 11.30 a.m. between the towns of Ruvo di Puglia and Corato, around 25 miles from Bari.
