MNA National Desk: The body of Daily Samakal Editor Golam Sarwar has been taken to Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka around 11am on Thursday. The body will be kept there till 12:30pm for people from all walks of life to pay their last respect. MNA National Desk: The daily Samakal editor Golam Sarwar died in a Singapore hospital at 9:25pm on Monday (Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihe rajiun). He was 75. The eminent journalist of the country was admitted to LabAid Hospital in Dhaka on 29 July being attacked by pneumonia. He was air lifted to Singapore on August 3 for better treatment as his condition deteriorated. He was put on life support on as his blood pressure fell on Monday afternoon, and died at night.
