MNA Business Desk: The National Board of Revenue or NBR has brushed aside as rumours social media posts claiming the government has imposed Value Added Tax (VAT) on the money sent by Bangladeshi expatriates. Scheduled banks to remain open on 29-30 Nov till 8pm


MNA Business Desk: All scheduled banks will remain open till 8:00pm on Wednesday and Thursday to facilitate the tax return activities of customers. The Bangladesh Bank took the decision on Tuesday following a plea from the National Board of Revenue (NBR). MNA Business Desk: The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the timings of Income Tax Fair by three hours for the next three days for the convenience of the taxpayers in the capital. “The time of the fair has been extended to 8:00pm instead of 5:00pm.
