PSC, Ebtedayee exams begin


MNA Education Desk: Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee Examinations-2018 began on Sunday across the country with the participation of 30,95,123 examinees. The examinations started around 10am, reported news agency. As many as 27,77,270 examinees are appearing for PSC examinations while 3,17,853 students are participating in Ebtedayee examinations this year. Among the PSC examinees, 12,78,742 are male and 14,98,528 female while 3,17,853 students including 1,66,814 male candidates will appear in the Ebtedayee examinees examination. 37th BCS final results published


MNA Education Desk: A total of 1,314 candidates have been recommended for different cadres of civil service in the 37th Bangladesh Civil Service examinations, according to officials. Public Service Commission (PSC), the body that hires civil servants, published the final results on Tuesday after a special meeting at its office in the capital. Though in 37th BCS circular the number of cadres was mentioned as 1,226, the commission finally recommended 1,314 candidates for different cadres. PSC publishes 39th BCS Circular


MNA Education & Career Desk: The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) circular seeking applications from medical doctors for 4,792 vacant posts in the medical cadre. The circular, its syllabus and instructions for the exam have been published in BPSC website. The online application and submission will continue from Apr 10 to Apr 30. The age limits for the candidates is 21 to 32 years of age. MNA Education Desk: BCS aspirants for the 38th BSC examinations can apply without NID card, said PSC. Earlier, the Public Service Commission (PSC) issued a circular saying National Identity (NID) card is a must for sitting for BSC exams. But many students seeking first class gazetted job do not have NID cards. Following protest by the job aspirants, PSC has backtracked from its stand. PSC published 38th BCS circular


MNA Education Desk: The Public Service Commission (PSC) published a circular for the 38th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination seeking applications against 2,024 posts. PSC Chairman Dr Muhammad Sadiq told that they published it on their website to fill up 2,024 vacant posts of the government. Of them, 300 will be recruited for the administration, 100 for the police cadres, 520 for the general cadres, 549 for the technical and professional cadres, and 955 for the education cadres. MNA National Desk: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the final results of 35th BCS (Bangladesh Civil Service) examinations. It has recommended 2,158 for appointment to different cadres, Chairman Mohammad Sadiq told to media on Wednesday. Sadiq also said that results of 16 examinees have been stayed. More than 5,000 applicants have passed both written and viva tests. A total of 6,088 had passed the written test. 37th BCS preliminary test on Sept 30


MNA National Desk: Preliminary test for the 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination will be held on Sept 30. The Public Service Commission (PSC) made the statement on Tuesday. The two-hour exam will start at 9am and will be held in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet and Rangpur.
