MNA International Desk: Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi submitted his resignation to parliament amid continuing anti-government protests in the capital Baghdad and in southern Iraq. The prime minister announced on Friday he would resign amid mounting pressure a day after more than 40 demonstrators were killed by security forces.
