MNA International Desk: Myanmar’s military said on Wednesday its soldiers had murdered 10 captured Muslim “terrorists” during insurgent attacks at the beginning of September, after local Buddhist villagers had forced the captured men into a grave they had dug. “Villagers and members of the security forces have confessed that they committed murder,” the military said in a statement. Zimbabwe army says takes power, Mugabe “safe and sound”

MNA International Desk: Zimbabwe’s military said on Wednesday it had seized power in a targeted assault on “criminals” around President Robert Mugabe who were causing social and economic suffering, but gave assurances the 93-year-old leader and his family were “safe and sound”. In a short broadcast on national television, which was seized overnight by soldiers, a spokesman for the military said it expected “normalcy” to return as soon as it had completed its “mission”. Five soldiers killed in Turkey’s Sirnak

MNA International Desk: Five soldiers were killed and eight were injured in Turkey’s southeastern Sirnak province on Wednesday in an attack supposed to have been carried out by the militants of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). Militants blasted explosives on military vehicle passed in Sirnak’s Uludere district.
