MNA Sports Desk: Former South African international player Neil McKenzie appointed as batting consultant for Bangladesh cricket team until next year’s World Cup, according to cricbuzz. Earlier, McKenzie was scheduled to join the team on July 7 but according to the BCB chief executive, he will now team up with the squad in the West Indies on July 22. MNA Sports Desk: BCB President Nazmul Hassan Papon said that South African Gary Kirsten appointment as a consultant is in the final stages. He was talking to Sport scribes yesterday after the reception to honour former coach West Indian Gordon Greenidge, reported news agency. BCB chief literally surprised the reporters by saying that Kirsten was already working for the board.
