MNA National Desk: The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Thursday sentenced Riaz Uddin Fakir of Mymensingh to death for his crimes against humanity during the Liberation War. A three-member bench of the International Crimes Tribunal headed by Justice Md Shahinur Islam passed the judgement on Thursday after wrapping up a hearing from prosecutors and the defendant on Mar 21. Ex-addl IGP sent to jail for war crimes


MNA National Desk: The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Wednesday sent former Additional Inspector General of Police Oahidul Haque to jail in a case filed for war-crimes during the 1971 Liberation war. A two-member bench of ICT led by Justice Amir Hossain passed the order when police produced him before the tribunal today. Earlier around 11:30am, police produced Oahidul before the tribunal.
