MNA National Desk: Today’s children are future’s rescuers. So, everyone has to work for the children with fresh heart as was said by the Chairman of Mohammadi Group of Companies, Mir Mosharref Hossain.
He made that address in the speech of Chief Guest of a drawing, rhymes and poems competition arranged by Nobodoy Shongho at Tajmahal Road of Mohammadpur at 11am of 26th March, 2017 on the eve of great Independence Day of Bangladesh.
Mir Mosharref Hossain is all known personality working for the welfare of the children of Bangladesh. He has also been working as the chief sponsor of the largest children’s organization of the country, Bangabandhu Shishu Kishore Mela.
In the speech of chief guest, Mir Mosharref Hossain said, we had to work ceaselessly from the different levels of the society for the emotional development of the children. We had to inform them the correct history of our independence and the contribution of father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
He also said that, let us discard some of our bad habits for the sake of our own children so that they could keep themselves away from these bad habits as they grew up and could develop themselves as white-hearted humans.
He appreciated and congratulated the effort of Nobodoy Shongho for emotional developments of children at different layers of the society.
Mir Mosharref Hossain, Chairman of Mohammadi Group of Companies was present as the chief guest at the program while Gaizul Hoque Shahab Uddin was present as special guest. Fakhruddin Ahmed Bachchu was also present as the chief discusser.
General Secretary of the club Nizamul Hoque Babu conducted the program while it was presided by Nurul Islam Shahed, the president of Nobodoy Shongho. Other than them, member of the club Raju Ahmed, Ovik Hasan Even, Golam Haider Titu, Maruf Hossen Sohel, Jamal Uddin Milton, Habibur Rahman Tuhin, Abu Md. Nasim, Bodiuzzaman Bahadur, Akbar Hossain and others were in overall collaboration of the program.
More than hundred children participated in the drawing competition as children from class one to three was placed in category – Ka, from class four to six in category – Kha and from class seven to ten in category – Ga.
Around fifty children participated in rhymes and poems competition in two categories: Ka-from class one to five and Kha-from class six to ten.
Chairman of Mohammadi Group of Companies, Mir Mosharref Hossain and president of Nobodoy Shongho, Nurul Islam Shahed handed over crests, books and certificates to the winners at the of the competition. Moreover, books were presented as consolation prizes to all participants of the competitions.
It is mentionable that, Nobodoy Shongho is well known as a non-political social organization established after liberation. For four long decades, they have been trying to contribute to the education and development activities for the welfare of the deprived people of the society. They have also contributed largely to the development of culture and sports.
