Kaushik Ahmed

Mr. Kaushik Ahmed is an aspiring journalist, feature writer and columnist. He is the Editor of Mohammadi News Agency (MNA). He has also been associated with country’s prominent English daily ‘The Daily Observer’ as Senior Feature Writer. His expertise in current affairs and international relations is commendable. Hundreds of his articles were published in ‘The Daily Observer’, MNA and other national dailies.

He is also the Executive Editor of ‘Kishore Bangla’, a momentous and juvenile monthly magazine for the children and teenagers. His articles and features on vibrant topic have made him an acclaimed writer for the children and teenagers of Bangladesh.

He is a business post-graduate. He has completed his Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) from North South University (NSU) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from State University of Bangladesh (SUB).

Mr. Kaushik Ahmed is a hereditary journalist. He is the son of Late Anis Ahmed, who was the Bureau Chief of Thomson Reuters in Bangladesh for over two decades. Late Anis Ahmed was a well respected veteran journalist of the country, who wrote in many national and international reputed publications for more than 30 years. He breathed his last while carrying out his role as the Executive Editor of ‘The Daily Observer’.

Following his father’s track, Kaushik Ahmed moved towards journalism and literature while performing top level corporate roles. He has visited many countries to serve both professional and personal interests.

In personal life, he leads a happy life with his wife children’s feature writer Fariya Anowar.
