Election process to begin in Oct: CEC

MNA National Desk: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A K M Nurul Huda on Monday said that the process for holding the 11th parliamentary polls will start in October this year.

‘All the political parties will participate in the upcoming national polls,’ hoped the CEC while responding to the reporters at the circuit house.

He said that the election may be held in December this year or January in 2019.

While replying to a question on BNP’s proposal about ‘supporting government’ to uphold the next general election, he said it is a political matter and the government will take decision over the issue.
