JU to draw country’s longest Alpona

MNA Education Desk: Jahangirnagar University authority is going to draw a 2-km long Alpona on the university campus to mark the 48th Independence and National Day. The authority claimed it will be the longest Alpona of the country.

Under the management of JU Teacher-Student Center, students of different departments will take part to draw the alpon on the campus premises. Berger Paints will supply required quantity of paints for this purpose, said JU TSC Director Professor Bashir Ahmed.

Vice Chancellor Professor Farzana Islam will inaugurate the longest alpon at 2.30 pm on Sunday. The university is set to celebrate the 48th Independence and National Day with elaborate programmes.
