MNA National Desk: The main congregation of Eid-ul-Azha, the 2nd largest religious festival of the Muslims, will be held at the National Eidgah at 8:00am on the Eid day.
A total of five Eid Jamaat will be held at Baitul Mukarram national mosque, according to a press release of the Islamic Foundation. The congregations will be held at 7:00am, 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am and 10:45am, it said.
Eid-l-Azha, also called the “Sacrifice Feast”, is the second of two Muslim holidays celebrated worldwide each year, and considered the holier of the two.
In the Islamic lunar calendar, Eid-ul-Azha falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah. In the international (Gregorian) calendar, the dates vary from year to year drifting approximately 11 days earlier each year.
