MNA National Desk: A team of Detective Branch (DB) of police on Monday night detained former adviser to a caretaker government Mainul Hosein in a defamation cases filed in Rangpur.
Barrister Mainul Hosein was detained from the city’s Uttara area around 10pm Monday, reported news agency.
Several cases were filed across the country against Mainul Hosein for hurling abusive words at journalist Masuda Bhatti in a television talk-show.
