SC stayed HC order to recognize 2,367 as freedom fighters

MNA National Desk: The Chamber Judge of the Supreme Court on Sunday stayed a High Court order that recognized 2,367 members of ’71 ‘guerilla force’ as freedom fighters, reported news agency. Chamber Judge of the Appellate Division Hasan Foez Siddique came up with the order after hearing a petition filed by the state against the High Court order, and fixed the date for hearing on it on October 30 at a regular bench of the Appellate Division.
