It is Xi’s first overseas trip this year, and the first visit to the Asian neighbour by a Chinese president after an interval of 19 years. World’s longest Hong Kong-Zhuhai bridge opens


MNA International Desk: Chinese President Xi Jinping has officially opened the world’s longest sea crossing bridge, nine years after construction first began, reported news agency. Including its access roads, the bridge spans 55km (34 miles) and connects Hong Kong to Macau and the mainland Chinese city of Zhuhai.
