US-Bangla started its journey in the aviation industry of Bangladesh on July 17, 2014 and has been setting unique precedents one after another, achieving milestones of successes.
US-Bangla Airlines started its journey in the competitive aviation business of Bangladesh and also in the International air space 6 years ago on this day. Then US-Bangla started its journey by operating Dhaka-Jashore flight with two 6-seater Dash-Q400 aircraft.
From the beginning there was on-time flight management with own catering, in-flight service of international standard which was made it acceptable to the general public.
Within a year of the start of the journey, US-Bangla flights had started operating at all domestic airports, strengthening the air communication system in the shortest possible time. Domestic routes operate flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox’s Bazaar, Sylhet, Jashore, Syedpur, Barisal and Rajshahi.
US-Bangla Airlines launched its international flight on May 15, 2016, two years after the launching of the Dhaka-Kathmandu route. At present it operates regular flights from Dhaka to Kolkata, Chennai, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and Guangzhou.
Besides, it operates flights from Chittagong to Kolkata, Chennai, Muscat and Doha. US-Bangla Airlines plans to operate flights to Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Dubai, Hong Kong and Delhi in the near future.
The US-Bangladesh fleet currently has a total of 13 aircraft, including four 164-seat Boeing 737-800s, six 72-seat brand new ATR 72-600 and three 76-seat Dash7-Q400s. US-Bangla Airlines has a record of 97.8 percent on-time flights since its inception.
In recognition of setting a unique example of passenger service, US-Bangla Airlines has been able to consistently claim the crown of the best airline with the best on-time performance on domestic routes. US-Bangla Airlines currently has about 1400 employees at home and abroad which is also working to solve the unemployment problem of the country.
Besides, it has kept the wheel of the country’s economy running by paying regular tax-surcharges. Besides, the country’s reputation has been enhanced by operating flights on international routes. Acquiring foreign exchange is making the country’s economy stronger.
There are websites and mobile apps for booking US-Bangla tickets. There is also home delivery facility. It has more than 30 sales offices across the country. It also has its own sales offices in Kolkata, Chennai, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Toronto and New York.
There is a Skyster package for frequent flyers. Through which not only the ticket facility but also the passengers get discount facility for purchasing different types of products in the business establishments.
Since independence, US-Bangla Airlines has been the only domestic airline to operate direct flights to any destination in China or Chennai, India. In the context of Bangladesh, US-Bangla is providing a number of special services to passengers, which has set an example in the aviation industry.
One of the notable services is luggage delivery within 15 minutes of landing an international flight, 20 per cent discount for senior citizens, 10 per cent discount for military officers and golfers and many more.
US-Bangla Airlines not only transports passengers but also cargo to various domestic and international destinations. Since its inception, US-Bangla Airlines has been directly involved in the development of various sports in the country, including various educational, social and cultural institutions.
