MNA National Desk: As news agency reported, six people went missing as an engine-run boat capsized in the Padma River in Nator at Lalpur upazila on Tuesday morning.
The victims are recognized as Chander Ali, 55-year-old, Arzed Ali, 43, Belal Hossain, 45-year-old, Jamrul Islam, 25-year-old, Bhasan Ali, 28-year-old, and Jamal, 52-year-old, they all are residents of Bilmaria of the upazila.
Anwar Khan, ASP (Additional superintendent of police), said that the boat carrying about 50 farmers sank in the river while it was going to Polashir Char from Bilmaria Ghat in the upazila in the morning.
The six went missing after the occurrence while others managed to swim onto land.
