Bangladesh 33 runs away from historic win

33 runs awayMNA Sports Desk: Bangladesh is 33 runs away from a  historic win as England reduce the hosts to 253/8 when umpires called Stumps on the fourth day of the first Test.

Sabbir Rahman, on Test debut, is unbeaten on 59 and he has Taijul Islam for company. Bangladesh made an inspired start to the chase but lost way with regular wickets.

Mushfiqur Rahim steadied the ship with Rahman before the skipper was dismissed for 39. The morning session promises to be a cracker as both teams will come hard at each other in what could be entertaining 30-45 minutes.

It has been a magnificent contest fluctuating deliciously for four days and as the players departed from the field on Sunday evening in front of the largest crowd yet witnessed in the match no one knew which team was going to win it.
