MNA Education Desk: The results of the freshly held “Gha” unit admission test of Dhaka University were published on Monday afternoon (Nov 19) where 61.1 percent students passed. DU authorities retook the admission test of first-year honors programs for the 2018-19 academic sessions on November 16. Professor Ziaul Haque, chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the matter on Saturday, reports news agency. The examinations started around 10am across the country. Students from 29,677 educational institutions appeared for the examinations at 2,903centres across the country. A total of 22,67,343 students –10,43,752 boys and 12,23,591 girls –sat for the JSC examination, while 4,02,990 examinees — 179,980 boys and 2,23,010 girls –for the JDC examination, raising the total to 26,70,333.
