IU admission test held peacefully

MNA Education Desk: The admission tests of ‘A’ and ‘B’ units for the first year Honours courses of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia held peacefully amid tight securities on Sunday.

A total of 1,996 candidates were contesting against 240 seats at ‘A’ unit under theology faculty and 21,208 candidates were contesting against 1,035 seats at ‘B’ unit under humanities and social sciences faculty, acting registrar of the university SM Abdul Latif said.

The admission test of A-unit was held at the 1st shift around 9.30am to 10.30am while the test of B-unit was held at 2nd, 3rd and 4th shifts of the day around 11.30am to 12.30pm, 2pm to 3pm and 4pm to 5pm respectively, he added.

Vice Chancellor said we are committed to complete the admission test through 100 percent transparency.

The results and more information of these units will be available soon on the university website www.iu.ac.bd.
