Lady Gaga just taking a break

MNA Culture & Entertainment Desk: Singer Lady Gaga has exposed that she and her fiance Taylor Kinney are just taking a break. The ‘Pokerface’ hit maker, who got engaged to Kinney in February 2015, also urged her fans to keep rooting for them as they cope with the ‘long-distance and complicated schedules’ that keep them apart.

“Taylor and I have always believed we are soul mates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break.” Gaga wrote on Instagram along with a photograph of her and Kinney.

“We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.” She added.

Earlier it was exposed that the couple struggled to deal with the distance as Taylor, 35-year-old, was always tied to Chicago. But the detachment was not somewhat new to them as Gaga, 30-year-old, opened up about how tough it is to be apart. Before broadcasting their break, the pair had been busy planning their wedding.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta known professionally as Lady Gaga is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She performed initially in theater, appearing in high school plays, and studied at CAP21 through New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts before dropping out to pursue a musical career.

Her debut album The Fame (2008) was a critical and commercial success that produced global chart-topping singles such as ‘Just Dance’ and ‘Poker Face’. A follow-up extended play (EP), The Fame Monster (2009), was met with a similar reception and ‘Bad Romance’, ‘Telephone’, and ‘Alejandro’ was released becoming successful singles.

In 2013, Gaga finished second on Time’s readers’ poll of the most influential people of the past ten years, while in 2015; she was named Billboard’s Woman of the Year. In addition to her self-empowering messages, fashion, and live performances, she is noted for her philanthropic endeavors and social activism, including LGBT rights, HIV/AIDS prevention and the Born This Way Foundation.
