‘Next generation leadership’ at NSU

MNA Education Desk: The successful young leaders expressed their views on the nature of future leadership in the event “Next Generation Leadership”, held recently at North South University, organized by the Office of External Affairs (OEA) under the leadership of the Director, Dr. Katherine Li.

In this event, NSU alumni talked about their success and leadership in their respective sectors of work. The panelists of the seminar were Ziauddin Adil, media personality and CEO of Top of Mind, Rehnuma Karim, founder and CEO of Heroes for All, Dr. M. Masrur Reaz, senior economist and program manager of International Finance Corporation, a department of World Bank Group and Sakib Adnan, co-founder of Shikhbe Shobai.

The objective of organizing such an illuminating seminar was to create awareness among the students of the current market scenario and the role of leadership, so that students can prepare themselves for the job market as well as to become leaders in future themselves.

The chief guest of this panel discussion was the pro-Vice-Chancellor (designate), Prof. Dr. G.U. Ahsan and the dean of the School of Business and Economics, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mahboob Rahman was the special guest.
