PM urges people to re-elect Awami League

MNA National Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged people to re-elect the Awami League to allow her party to continue the projects initiated by the present government and lead Bangladesh to development and prosperity.

“We declared a plan to modernise everything and it brought changes to people’s lives,” said the prime minister as she inaugurated 321 projects in 56 districts through a videoconference at Ganabhaban, reported news agency.

“The election is approaching. The Election Commission will announce the election schedule anytime. We’ll again urge the people to vote for us,” said Hasina.

Bangladesh is now on the fast-track to development, she said. “The lives of rural people have changed. We have progressed a lot, we want more. And that’s our goal.”
