Police detained alleged killer of Risha

MNA National Report: Police detained the alleged killer of Suraiya Akhter Risha, an eighth grade student of Willes Little Flower School and College, from Nilphamari on Wednesday morning.

The arrestee is Obayed, 29-year-old, son of late Abdus Samad of Miratongi village of Birganj upazila in Dinajpur.

Earlier, police said that Obayed, worked in a tailoring shop at Eastern Mollika Shopping Complex, had been disturbing Risha over phone for some months. Risha’s mother filled a case against Obayed with Ramna police

Risha stabbed by miscreant in city’s Kakrail area, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on August 28. Her family lives at Old Dhaka’s Siddik Bazar.
