MNA National Desk: The government has reset office hours during the Ramadan starting from the last week of this month. Office timings have been fixed between 9am and 3:30pm on all working days.
The decision has been taken on Monday at the Cabinet meeting presided over by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam told a press briefing.
He said that new timings will be effective for all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous offices during the Ramadan.
There will be a 15-minute break from 1:15pm for the Zuhr prayers during office time. But the Supreme Court, banks and other financial institutions will be free to decide their own working hours, he added.
