MNA National Desk: The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday asked the government authorities concerned to restore the frequency allocation of Citycell within 24 hours. A three-member bench of the Appellate Division, headed by chief justice SK Sinha, passed the order following a petition. The operation of the country’s first mobile phone operator remains suspended at present. The apex court asked the relevant authorities to reactivate Citycell’s liscence and fixed 6 August for hearing on a petition filed for contempt of court.
